As some of you know, I've been trying to remodel my "tin can" (the tiny mobile I live? in) Nothing much has been getting done except more walls and stuff being torn out. Progress, if any has been very small and very slow.
Through the handyman of this park, I heard that the City has a rehab program for housing. Been there, done that before with no results. The Hand of God was on the last call I made! Got ahold of the proper person to talk to and she actually is doing her job! She finally called me back and we made an appointment for an inspector to come out and take a look. He took his pictures and we talked about my needs. He's not only going to ask for a bathroom with features for "the disabled," a hard surface floor throughout and a new deck but THEY'RE ALL GOING TO BE <font color="blue"> NEW!!!!!!!!</font> He's requesting a two bedroom place and also cement from the street to the back yard and a new deck with a ramp according to code! Oh, and did I tell you I received my new power chair last week?!?! That's why the need for cement and a ramp! In talking with him, we realized we share the same faith. When he was getting into his truck after the inspection, he said "I'm praying for THIS one!" Like I told him "We'll be praying together, then!"  The only downside, if it can be called that, is that it takes two weeks to go through the loan process, ten weeks to manufacture the home, and three weeks to pull out the old and bring in the new. That's okay. Somehow, I'll find the patience to wait for THIS particular blessing!! I am so happy today that not much can bring me down! hehehe .gif)      YEEEEEEEEHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!

Congrats Tomi! Maybe you could use the waiting time to pitch and toss stuff you don't want to transfer to the new place.
Way to go. I'm so glad something worked out for you!

But does that mean there won't be a Christmas in December???  LOL Yeah, I know! I'm selfish... I WANT IT ALL!!! Nah... I will be ever soooooooooo grateful!! This may sound strange, but... I know I deserve it.

You're right! We plan to salvage everything we can. The only thing that kills me that isn't salvagable is the glass block bar!

Just keep praying that nothing gets in the way of finalizing this deal! Like I said in a previous post, my oldest son on whom I rely on for business matters thinks I'm getting scammed. I don't see how but don't want him to throw a monkey wrench in the works!
