I'm tired of it myself... :/

Yes, Sophia, mental illness is an affliction that may hide the sun even on the brightest days.

Sometimes I think I'd give ANYTHING for just one healthy day - one chance to live life without the worry, depression, anxiety.

That's why some of us think unthinkable thoughts, which seem to make sense when we're totally strung out with no relief at hand. And yet it's summed up in the old Beckett quote from "Waiting for Godot": "I can't go on. I can't go on. I'll go on."

If only we had enough money to take a good weekend break or something, or be less frightened about finances. Or enough to be able to buy a nice toy. But nope. Doesn't work that way.

I like that "ruin" quotation making its way around these days. Something like ruin is good for you. I agree. It puts everything back on the table, everything's up for discussion. There's no aspect of life that doesn't get microscoped. Anything can be changed.

Other than that I'll have some brandy and a cigarette. Take care!

Most definitely--especially since I'm bipolar and the consensus seems to be there's no "cure" for that. At least some disorders can be healed......I'm doing okay now, but it's like I'm always worrying that "the other shoe will drop"--i.e., I'll have another spell of mania or depression.

Of coarse. It's very frustrating to see how illness has held me back, and it's frustrating not knowing if my physical problems are caused by something mental or vice versa...

Greetings,

Without my mental illnesses, I could truly not have obtained all the positivity I have, in life. My illnesses have lead me to so much enlightenment, so far, to which I no longer feel as if they are a curse to me, but aids to help me gain true happiness.

Have a good one.

Completely and utterly exhausted. I think back on how I've survived 10 years and how I really don't know if I can do that again, or even half of that.
