I agree, very cool. I wanted to work in a frame shop, inquired where a sign was up, but I had no experience. So I really really think this is a great job. Congratulations.

Yay Pat!

Did I ever tell you that is exactly how I met my husband? He was working at a Do-It-Yourself Frame shop in Philly, and I was a customer. I had about 25 things to frame that I had collected over the years. He helped me pick out all of the materials and helped me get started, but ended up framing at least half of my pieces for me. He says (now) that he was doing it to spend time with me, but I thought he was trying to rush me out of there faster!

I came in one evening, as scheduled, and he wasn't there. Turns out he had quit. Before the night was over, he stopped in, talked to me for a few minutes, looked really awkward and nervous, and left again without having done anything to indicate why he stopped in the shop in the first place.

I ran into him again in an elevator a few months later, and a few days later, I found a note on my desk from him (he had become a bike messenger), asking me on a date!

It's really nice having all of the art that we framed together in each room of our house, always reminding us of how we met cooler than chocolate job!!

Congratulations on the new job!
