Hello, and greetings to everyone in the community!
Psychology and human behavior have always been a favorite subject for me, and I have visited this website for excellent information on the topic for quite some time. In recent times however, I have been dealing with issues in my personal living environment which I could use assistance with, and it seems these forums are a good place for discussion of this nature. I currently live with others in my environment, and sometimes issues arise as a result of incompatibilities between our different personalities. These issues are mainly related to things like responsibility , organization, consideration, ect. This situation offers monetary benefits in living expenses, and I am currently attemping to pursue studies which will ultimately allow me to improve my financial situation. However in between time, I find the day to day issues which occur with the other people can occupy my thoughts for extended periods of time, and this impacts my ability to study and maintain the necessary mindset for success. More specifically, when an issue occurs I tend to dwell on it until I change my activity, such as when I go to work. I have sought information to help myself establish control over thoughts and my perception of things around me, and it has helped to a small extent. However the problem still occurs, and I would like to ask you for further advice helping me keep these issues from occupying my thoughts allowing me to better focus on my studies. Thanks for reading, and anything you can contribute is greatly appreciated! Kevin |
