I haven't had a lot of energy in years, but at the moment I am so exhausted I can barely keep my eyes open or get out of the chair even after hours of sleep. I've bought my new bed and have no longer been sleeping with music or a light on, and I've been taking multi vitamins and eating better. I feel really dreadful.
Would anyone know reasons why someone would feel this exhausted? I really need some ideas. I've had a blood test done (for something else), but everything in that was completely fine.
Thanks for this!

Hmmm I can't know, of course. But I'd check out what I was eating, as sugar does that to me... and mold also...if it's in the room or house etc (like on the patio screens for me) that also makes me lethargic.

Hope you figure it out, and can solve it.

I have cut back on a lot of stuff, I've added more vegetables to meals, I don't eat white bread, I use honey instead of sugar, and only buy raw sugar instead of white. I never add salt to food, and if I do it's only a tiny amount. I rarely drink things like coke, only perhaps at a party (and I rarely go to them), I rarely eat chocolate.

Please call your medical doctor and tell him or her as soon as possible.

Yeah those are big changes. What I found out is that I couldn't use raw sugar nor honey (except in minute amounts in a recipe) either... sugar acts the same in the system. For some reason I don't have the "gotta take a nap" feelings when I use stevia.

Have you had blood work done lately? Maybe you're anemic?

I've had 2 blood tests done in my life, one was a few years ago, one was only recently. Both times everything was fine.

Are there meds that you are taking that can cause you to be lethargic?

No I don't take medications anymore, I stopped taking meds when I was 19.

I do not know how much help this will be, but I have a friend who has the same problem. Her doctor did a bunch of tests and finally told her she was just the kind of person who need 10 to 12 hours of sleep each night. I know it is hard to keep a sleep schedule like that tho. Hope you solve your problem soon!

I kinda have the same problem, Evening. I read this book on sleeping advice a few months ago and I remember it does mention what e.kayem said: not everyone needs the same amount of sleeping hours.

You say you're using raw sugar. Some people have told me it's not as good at it seems. You might try to cut back on it and see what happens. I can't talk from personal experience on this because every time I attempt to stop using raw sugar my family ruins it, lol.

*Sending good vibes*
