Well,
I was thinking about this today in school. It might sound reallllyy dumb but, i'm like a prep i guess and i think i want to turn into a punk person. i want to get my lip pierced still have my hair blonde but wear 'darker' clothes, lol. idk. sound wierd? yeah, i just feel all different changes of who I WANT TO BE at once...idk...im just afraid i will lose my boyfriend if i change and people will make fun of me. Changing for the better?

This has been included in previous topics, as some professionals consider piercings and shocking changes like you list as self-harm and poor self esteem indicators. Changing the outside can have brief pseudo positive effects upon how we feel about ourselves... but I would warn against anything not easily changed back to a more "normal" appearance, and certainly against anything that might endanger your health. I'm sorry you are dealing with these issues... take care of yourself.

Yah I agree with SKy... what is causing you to want you to go "punk" especially if you are worried your boyfriend will break up with you and you'll be made fun of. I hope you will think about this issue a little more.
