Most of you know that it was scheduled for this Wednesday the 16th. I got a call and they gave me the time now for it. I have to be at the hospital at 1pm and then surgery will start about 3pm . And yes I am starting to get anxious about this . Mainly because of the anesthesia, I dont do well after , I get quite nauseated even when they try to do different things to alleviate it. This time I am trying a patch that will help with it. Also I think they give me too much cause I have such a hard time waking up from it. And the final reason is because most of my surgeries have been abdominal ones And I know what to expect from those. But with this being on my head, I am like I dont know what to expect the pain to be like ,or anything. I dont like the unknown like this!

I get nauseated with anesthesia too--- wasn't able to hold it down after I got my tonsils out when I was 32!! Sounds like you are thinking ahead - using a patch to hopefully steer clear from the nausea-- I sure hope that works well for you *fingers crossed*!

I do not have experience with anesthesia. At least not an extensive one. I have only been put under once and I seemed to be ok. I wish you well.

bethy it could be the versad(sp) they use. it is the cocktail shot they give right before you go in. try it without that. let them know you get really sick and they won't give it. I can't use that either

Ray~ Sorry I saw a Get Well wish in Kudo's and I posted in there late or early this morning how I was doing .

I feel really good. No pain ,nothing! I didnt have a bit of nausea either! By far of any surgery I have had, this has been the best! If that makes sense???LOL!!! I even had to sneeze a bit ago and it didnt hurt! lol.I have to wear this funny sling under my nose to hold a piece of gauze there for the bleeding yet. It looks pretty funny lol. Thanks for the well wishes everyone! I really appreciated them!
