I haven't talked to anyone about this, so I'm sorry if I sound odd.

I hear voices, mainly in my head, but I still hear them. Some of them I only hear once, others I hear all the time. The ones I hear the most have their own names and personalities. Some I will talk to all day (like Rose), others don't like me much (or even hate me), and some just keep to themselves.

So here are my questions:
Is this normal (I don't think so, but I can still hope)? Does anyone here hear voices like mine? Should I be worried about this? Can they just be like imaginary friends or something like that?

Hello, LovesShelly. Have you talked to your treatment team about the voices? If not, please do.

TheByzantine,
I don't have a treatment team. I guess I might need to try to get some help.

Almost universally people will say that hearing voices is abnormal. The questions, however, I think you need to ask are:

Are these voices disruptive?
Do they tell you to do things?
Do they degrade you, or those around you?
Do you think they are keeping you from the life you want?

If any of these answers is yes, then you do need some professional help.
