coffee almost got me this morning

It's been pouring cats dogs and bunnies for weeks now. Three inches a day-ish some days.... roads are closed with rock slides and trees down and creeks arisen and well, it is seriously wet out there. With more huge storms lined up to pound us for another week at least..... they stretch all the way from the Phillipines.... one after another... warm and wet.....

So today, I get my morning coffee together and come back to bed, plug in and fire up the box to check in here and sip myself awake and into the day and I'm reading eskielover's saga and my coffee goes down the wrong throat and suddenly I'm about to drown myself...... so, I dumped the keyboard and flipped myself upside down over the side of my bed to drain my flooded parts (and trying not to go headfirst onto the floor while trying to get over far enough to get gravity to save me...)..... and well, it worked, I'm still here, though a little snottier than before.......... like TimeO has posted, ya never know when yer gonna go, so live like "this moment is it", every moment........

So, how is your day going??

My morning has been ok, still tired though, may go back to bed for a bit and cuddle at least =)

My day is going well. Hubby is off today, so I got to sleep in!! Woo hoo!! I'm going to Wal-Mart to return some things that I got for Christmas that I already had. I'm really not looking forward to that at all.

well seeing how my day had the makings of a bad day .... i didnt get up until 7... i have a 30 minute drive to work and well i wasnt even ready by 7:30 and i still had to drop my kids off at their grandmothers.......it has actually so far turned out to be a good day

Bunny, you sure know how to tell a story! LMAO!! I'm sure hubby thinks... no, KNOWS for sure now that I've done gone 'round the bend. I had just been ranting at him about some family problems and how some of it is his fault... and I read your story and start LOLing,... at least, I THINK it was out loud!

Don't you just hate it when the damn coffee does that to you?? Lucky you, you were in a possition to get gravity to work for you. I'm usually in my chair and can't quite bend over far enough without getting the chair to come with me! LOL

I'm so glad you're fine! Otherwise, how would I get my morning laughs??

My morning was pretty good. I got to go shopping with my mom. I had gotten a gift card to Old Navy for Christmas so we went to go spend it. I also got some other things and when I get home tonight will enjoy my coffee but will remember when it starts to fight back I'll just bend over.
