when i first began therapy imagine this-i was invisible to myself! i needed to learn how to love and respect myself. i find the list very helpful in determining if we are valuing ourselves first, loving ourselves. hope this article will spark some discussion about how we can validate ourselves.

Good article - thanks for sharing. A lot of those certainly apply to me. I especially liked this:
"If your own feelings and needs are invisible to yourself, they may end up being invisible to others. It's unrealistic to constantly put yourself aside, and then expect others to value and respect you. " I'll need to think on that for a while. Good stuff. |
