Sleeps,

Her mouth seems to be OK. I checked her bottom lip and underneith the top by her nose and there was nothing. She wont let me go into her mouth, when I try, she cries. I almost lost Gracie last night because she is afraid. She is eating and drinking and was even chewing her baby back rib bone. We have a vet appointment on the 12th for her and Paulie. If no problems arise between now and then, I will speak with the vet about it then.

Thank you. I actually made it through the ordeal and aftermath with no Ativan. YAY!!!!. It has actually been months since I have taken it. If there was ever a time to take one, last night would have been it I almost lost Gracie last night.

Gracie and I appreciate and love all the hugs. Thank you!!!

That's so scary! I'm glad both you and Gracie have come out of it fine. You could have been electrocuted too when you tried to separate her from the wire! But like you said, there is no real chance to think about it the time. Hopefully she will stay well away from wires in the future!

Thank you. Gracie is doing well. Barking as we speak at the men laying brick next door. LOL. She still isnt used to all the building going on here.

I bet Gracie has learned her lesson about the wires. But in case you hasnt, hubby and I are taking extra precautions. BTW, I got some mini spray bottles and filled them with Sour Apple Spray. She doesnt like that stuff.

OMG! My eyes started tearing up when I read your post! I hope your puppie is ok now!

I know exactly how you feel about Gracie, though. I had a cat, Frisky, who was with me through all my rough times. A lot of the time she was the only friend I had, the only support I had, the only one who would stick with me. She was very sensitive and affectionate...everything I needed. She was also very possessive and stuck to me like glue....almost literally! Even when I'd go to bed, she'd come to me, she'd crawl underneath the blankets and lay on my chest! Had to be there all night until I got up, too! She was wonderful.

Unfortunately, I lost her a few years back after 13 wonderful years with her. She was elderly and just had been through so much. (she was anemic, had serious allergies, and was steadily going downhill no matter how much I did for her) I found her Christmas morning, underneath the Christmas tree. It was her way of telling me goodbye, I guess. I wanted to die that day...and I think of her all the time.

Cherish what you have and Gracie will cherish you always and forever.

(((((((((((((((((Lexi & Frisky)))))))))))))))))

Pets know us well, dont they. When were sad, angry and happy. It never matters what kind of moods we are in, they will never leave our side.

I am sorry about Frisky. I cant even imagine how devistating losing her was for you. I know in time, I will endure the same pain and it hurts me to even think of it.

You are right, cherish our babies always.

Thank you Lexi I almost lost Gracie last night

So happy Gracie is ok {{{{{Gracie}}}}} I almost lost Gracie last night I almost lost Gracie last night

One of my dogs, Lennon, did that once & she was fine except she burned some fur around her mouth.

You need to pull out the fuse to release the dogs jaws, then, when you hear it running, stick the fuse back in.
