So I dragged myself out of bed at a normal time today so I could make a 10am appointment with my case manager.

So I get there about 10 minutes early. Then I sit waiting about 25 minutes past my appointment time - which was highly uncommon - my case manager has always been on time. So I'm figuring her previous appointment must have gone long - maybe there was a crisis or something.

So she comes out, but instead of calling for me from the doorway, she walks over to me. She's never done that, either, so I'm wondering what's going on. She asks me if I have my appointment card, because she has me down for Wednesday at 10, not today, and she's full today until Noon. I'm thinking, I'm almost totally sure she said Monday at 10, but when I dig out my appointment card I see she wrote it down for Wednesday.

Darn it. I really think she slipped up and said Monday instead of Wednesday, because I remember her telling me the date at my appointment Thursday and thinking it was really soon, but repeating it in my mind to commit it to my memory. I preferred the sooner appointment, anyway, because I'm feeling extremely unstable and overwhelmed lately. Then I put the card in my bag and never looked at it. *sigh*
But maybe I'm wrong. I dunno. My memory's all messed-up, anyway.

So... I'm tired, and feel like disappearing... I don't want to mess with anything... just stop existing.

((((((( HUGS )))))))

I know that feeling.... I am sharing a little of it today.... but I cannot find a hole deep enough to climb in and hide away from it all.

Sorry to hear about the appt mix up.... I always hang a full length calendar next to the FRIG and I write all my appts on it.... NEVER have missed an appt since then.

LoVe,

I hate it when that happens.

I know I usually set all my appointment cards at my computer so I don't miss any. There's just a pile of them sitting here on the desk. Then I'll put them on my calendar, too.

Hang in there.

I did that once! I'm always early for my appts and I was really early for that one! A week early!

I carry a calender in my purse and stand right at the secretary's window and write the appts in each time. Then I put the card in the back of the calender in the little plastic flap. It really helps. That way the date is on the calender and if I need to call the office, I have the phone number on the card that's tucked into the flap.

I hope you feel better.

Hugs,

Jan
