I don't know what I'm going to do...I have to go see my T in a bit, then back to begin the carrying, But I have no idea what to ...pack? How does one pack for being homeless? I'm living on the edge of a panic attack...it's really cold here, so all the shelters are full. My brain has stopped any meaningful functioning, my hands are shaking. I can't catch my breath (and I am breathing slowly and deeply). This is NOT GOOD!

Dave...you may be reading this after your T. appointment, but my suggestion would be to tell your T. EXACTLY how you're feeling...if you're heading for a panic attack EVERYTHING as well as what's going on now with this move. I strongly feel that either seeing your pdoc TODAY or if that is absolutely impossible, head to the ER, if for nothing else than meds to help.

I know that probably sounded lamer than I meant. What I'm trying to say is let SOME professional know how you're feeling...please don't try to carry this alone.

Praying for you, my friend.

Czari

I am so sorry you have to deal with so much right now. I wish there was something I could do to help. If you could get to Tennessee, I'd gladly let you stay with me. Let me know if there's anything I can do to help you.

Love ya man, Jenn

Get in touch with your local Department of Human services. Sometimes if the problem of eviction is financial they can give you a voucher for a month. That way during that month you can be getting the paperwork with them done for cash medical and foodstamps.

St Vincent Du Paul also can help you with cash and food so that your rent will get paid and you will have food.

churches sometimes also helps, sometimes some of their congregation opens their homes to homeless for a week to a month so the person can get back on their feet by job hunting or signing up with Department of Human services.

Catholic Charities also helps with finances and food.

The red cross sometimes helps.

Various types of crisis centers can also help. All you need to do is walk in their door and say you need help and what you need.

All you all are really great...I appreciate the love and concern you have showed me. My church rented a storeage locker for a few months...we just got done moving the big stuff. I've still got a bunch of books and clothes and kitchen stuff left to move, but I really don't have anything to put 'em in. Also, I'll be staying with my X and my daughhters for a few days...I have some things working that I hope will fix some of the problems next week, so I'm hoping too get some things settled by then.

This is my last post for a while...so I want to thank all of you again for the caring and love you've shown me. I hope that I will be able to do the same when you need it!

Au Revoir!
