as some of you know my uncle has been in the hospital for the last week. just a little bit ago I started crying for no apparent reason. then the phone rang. it was his sister telling me they don't think he will make it thru the day. please keep our family in prayers today. I am leaving for the hospital in just a minute.

oh gosh I am overwhelmed. thank you all so very much. an update...he is now unable to really speak. when I got back to the hospital at around 4 pm on friday he was still talking somewhat. I left at 2:30 am and he was no longer talking much. he did start talking out of his head without any medications...now the morphine has started. right now the only thing keeping him alive is his pacemaker. I really don't expect him to make it another 24 hours. again thank you all so very much..it really means alot to me to know I have all of you as my family.

My prayers for you & your family....I went through this just a year agowith my Mother & know exactly how you are feeling. I was able to hold her hand just 2 hours before she died, telling her that it was ok for her to let go. I felt her squeeze my hand even though she couldn't talk. Just after that, my own GP put me into the hospital for anorexia & I got the call in the hospital the next morning that she had died just 2 hours after I had left her.

Debbie, I know how hard that must have been for you. Thank you for your prayers. Much love and peace to everyone that has replied. I am heading back to the hospital in a little bit. Please pray that God takes him quickly. His family are all getting exhausted already and someone is staying with him 24 hrs a day. thanks again for all your prayers. Elaine
