I had a plumber scheduled for early today and a fuel delivery for some point. Hubby dealt with the plumber, he has to come back tomorrow. Hubby also tells me we are straight out of oil. So I am waiting for the truck to come so I can catch the guy to bleed the furnace. I woke up sick. My chest is gunky, I feel icky, and I hurt all over. I took an advil. Trying to figure out how to get done what I think needs to be done today. I am not usually cold but it's about 50 in the house so that is cold enough.

Could one of you all come fold a massive amount of laundry for me? Thanks.

eerrrr, I hate lung sickies, hate not being able to breathe. Call me silly huh?

Can you leave the laundry unfolded for a bit?? It sucks doing housework when you're sick...

Which would explain why chores haven't been done in my room for 3? weeks now. Eventually I'll get on them. me sick.

I hope we both get better soon, because not being able to breathe (any cold or lung related uckyness) is evil.

Get well soon. me sick.

Once the adult kids took their laundry and I took towels and linens all that is left is easy for hubby to do. I am very sick, came on like a storm. I HAD to go to the bank 6 miles away and the drug store about 15 miles away. My car wouldn't start, dead battery, must have left lights on. I am achey and blah and the jumper box is not charged so I called a neighbor and they came and gave me a boost.

At the drug store my daughter's insurance is messed up and I called BC/BS and they said she had been cancelled as of 2/28. Well, excuse me but I paid the premium and she had better be on! I picked up one of her meds and left a message for the person at my old job that handled that.
I had to sit on the floor at the drug store I felt so crummy. So I found the nebulizer, have it out just in case. I will rest and do a bit and rest and do a bit.

Thanks for all of the encouragement and laundry folding. Yikes! Feel better canders.

I hope you feel better by morning. Can you go to a Dr tomorrow if you're not?

Healing thoughts and prayers headed your way.

Hugs,

Jan

I have what one half of the state has right now. I am going to stay on top of it. Have meds and neb ready. Feel like poop but my friend whose spouse died had car trouble and my son wired her exhaust for her but she had to drive to son in laws 12 miles south of here to get it fixed so she could work in a.m. She can't see at night, she scares us though she is young, her life has been so hard for the last 2 years it's like she's not functioning on all 6 cylinders. So she insisted on driving and I rode. I put on sweat pants over my nightie. Darn the brake on the passenger side didn't work. Three does jumped out in front of us and we barely stopped in time.

Son in law fixed the exhaust and all is well.

Jan, did you get my P.M.? FYI, came home just now to a puddle in the middle of the bed from some angry doggie. I thought WE owned our pets, not the other way around. Someone was peed off that I left abruptly. Only went through first three layers, bed spread, quilt and pendleton wool blanket that yes I do wash in machine though you are not supposed to. He he, reminds me of when babies were here and diapers overflowed in bed with us. OOH.

I am taking care. Be well yourself.

Tamiflu is good stuff, cost a fortune but it is helping to lesson and shorten this ordeal. I wanted to feel well this morning. Hubby said no way was he going to do house work today. We are having an early mud season and I swear I picked up 5 pounds of dirt off my flors today. Remember they are cleaned daily. Then I got to mop, fold some clothes and put a few loads in. I crashed, so tired. Decided I can work in spurts. Fold a load, go to bed, put in a load and go to bed. Hubby and I spoke about my being ill and that I feel guilty and wondered if he believed me. He keeps wondering if I am really depressed. I told him no, just that I really feel like crap and have small bursts of energy.

So Many things to do. aghrrr, gotta get my head clean.

c'mon over petunia, but, thing is, I don't want to grow. I did that quite well. Everyday is better. Mostly sleeping in between little tasks. My delightful spouse turned off the heat yesterday and forgot to turn it back on. I got out of bed and almost died! Back in bed now till the house warms.

STAY IN BED me sick. The longer you try to stay up and do things, the longer it will take for your yuckies to go away! I'm happy to hear you have a helpful hubby. Hope you feel better soon.
