I actually did something today and absolutely enjoyed it. I went out first and started moving the old stockade fencing the used to separate my house from the dog murderer. He broke it and we took it down and put up a wire fence. Anyway, it's been sitting there needing attention and I went out and moved a few panels, ouch big time for my back. Started a fire where we have always had our bonfires and began to burn. Hubby came out and we burned brush, the non-poison sumac we had cut when we were cutting the fence down, old pallets that the sheep and goats had destroyed, burdocks,,,,that wasn't so cool because they attacked me but...

I did something. It's not like when I clean or do laundry, it's really doing. Hope that makes sense.

Congrats WW -

Doing work outside is more visible than cleaning inside. When you clean inside, it is noticeable immediately afterwards, but not long after that!!

ahh, thanks folks but I just did something really dumb. I saw a few pieces we had not seen and went out to put them on the coals and my back went into major spasm. Like can I walk kind of spasm? I am a stubborn gal so you need to know that I couldn't even stand by myself. I am so pissed! At me, my back, my son for not bringing them down as I had asked him to check that area. And I am scared because if I did a good one it's excruciating pain and bed for days. Crap on a shingle!

wisewoman,

Congrats on accomplishing such a big task today (even if you don't consider it big, its more than what I've done this weekend!)

Sorry that you injured yourself in the process. I hope you feel better soon. *HUG*

Thanks canders. I have no one to blame but myself for pushing limits but cross your fingers I think it's a quick one and will pass quickly.

I know how you feel Wisewoman. It is hard to admit that we sometimes can't do what we used to. I am glad to hear that you are happy about what you did and I am sorry to hear that you hurt yourself in the process. Good luck to you in the future.
