after SEVEN WEEKS of screwing around with employment insurance (they STILL cannot get my records of employment via Employment Insurance froim my old employer) I finally got the wrong department who listened to me anyways and told me to call Bill, who was the public liason for EI.

Bill was FABULOUS. He got everything lined up in jus today. It turns out in waiting for the ROE's. it got left on a team leaders desk who sort of lost it.

They said I should have something in the bank my friday.

CHEEEEEER

((((bill))))

Well bill was definetly not incompetant thank goodness.

I have been without any income at all for the last seven weeks now. this is going to be like hallelujah for my bank account.

if i figured it rightly, my claim started the 12th, and there is a two week waiting period. Therefore I should have four weeks total coming at $160.00/week = 640.00 then every two weeks I get another 320.00 Well! Would you look at that, I managed to get a gov agency to work for me!!

As I work with my husband, he "pays" (hmmff) me now, but I endured 8 months of claiming unemployment benefits, and in my country - well you just don't want to know ..............

I am so glad that something (and Bill) got sorted out.
