I'm having a difficult time making decisions. I feel so overwhelmed sometimes and I get stuck with my options without being able I decide. I am treading water...

Yeah I get that as well, and I hate it.......its even worse when other people criticize me for it, because it bothers me enough as is especially since it does not seem to be something I can control. I just get overwhelmed and then its hard to even make a simple decision.
Thanks for this!

Thanks for yor responses. I agree that people who don't know how hard it is, have a difficult time understanding. So what do we do to combat it!

In always have trouble making decisions. Every time I want to acomplish something or make a decision, I ene up in a flashback with family and so called friends voices telling me I'm doing it all wrong or maybe you should get help, are you sure thats the right way to do that, maybe you should let someone else do it, are you sure thats the right decision soforth and so on. This is one of the resons I was having trouble working, I would keep working (meticulous and intricate work) during the flash backs come out of the flasback to find I have done 30-45 mins of work wrong, and take twice as long to correct, if I didn't have another flashback while trying to fix what I screwed up.

Aw, sounds like it could be a self esteem related issue, but just a guess lit-fuse?
