I am filled with this... doubt. What if everything I believe is a lie? I mean, everything? What if everything everyone tells me is true? Is there something wrong with me for thinking these things?
I believe that America is a militaristic despotism... Is that true? I believe that the War of Northern Aggression was a genocide against freedom... Is that true? I believe that sports are there only to control the masses. I believe that we are all slaves... I believe the U.S. Federal Government is illegal. I believe all sorts of things that no one agrees with. People seem to hate me for it and think there is something wrong with me... Am I delusional? Am I just seeing the world as a darker and scarier place then what it is? What if I'm wrong about everything? Am I wasting my life on this? Am I actually free? And if I am right, then is everything hopeless? Should I have just stayed ignorant. If I had listened to the authorities, they wouldn't have persecuted me this way. They never had a right. Just because they were illegitimate I despised them, and so I am eternally punished them. They deliberately tried to break me because I could see through them... Some people are just knowing the truth. We are called anti-authoritarians... We are persecuted, drugged, and locked away. Even when we are still children. But sometimes I wonder if I am right, or am I raging against a machine that isn't there... I need some clarity before this destroys my mind. I mean worse than what it is. I have begun to fear that there will soon be purges...

You are not alone in your beliefs about the US government. Please PM me and we can talk about this. I don't want to get political on this part of the board.

But overall, about the confusion, its best to find a rational way to find truth, keep investigating and I really believe we need to question authority. If they are correct, they will have good, rational reasons for you to support their ideas. If not, it might be good to seek out other teachers. Don't be discouraged, though, to be alone in your beliefs is not to be wrong.

Deathlyones I commend and thank you for this thread. I agree much with what you're questioning. I question stuff all the time. Sometimes I have to put it aside because I'll just think and think and not get any answers.

There aren't many ppl I know that question reality/authority like I do. It does get quite lonely. I have zero answers myself. But I agree with "everything" in that while I can keep investigating, I have to find some kind of truth that works for me.

Thank you again!!!!

one thing about america is we are all free to have our own idea, thoughts and believe in our own beliefs American is a free country where you and everyone else can believe what ever they want to believe. that includes political views religious views and yes military views too..

so to answer your questions.

if you are here in america and believe this no you would not be wrong...

and neither would those who believe differently / the complete opposite than you do.

there is no right or wrong with personal beliefs no matter what the belief is
here in america.

now if you for example held a belief and used that belief to harm other americans its what you have done not the belief that is wrong..

for example you can have your belief but you cant go out and kill off the president because murdering/assassinating the president is wrong here in america. the belief isnt but the action of murder is.
