Maybe there's just a breeze you aren't aware of shutting the doors and they aren't really shut for good? Get your imagination out to imagine the next doors you might want open and they will appear. What do you want to move toward? I remember when I decided I could not do what I had been doing for 20+ years and felt lost but that was just my own focus; I looked around for "what's next" and it appeared. Don't focus on the closing doors, look for what you might want to do next.

Well, you're not alone there. It's so frustrating, especially when it's month after month after month, rapidly approaching years.

Yes, life can suck. What might you do to make your life better? Each day is a new opportunity. You have a choice. You may continue to do what is not working; or, you might try something different.

Each of us must correct the perception we are helpless. Doing so requires courage, and doing. The change brought about by doing begets confidence you are not helpless. The doing also begets discipline and perseverance.

Choose to change. Choose to do something you can succeed at to overcome the malaise you find yourself in.

Good luck.
Thanks for this!

I am trying to find some positives. I've just spent 5 days inpatient between this post and today and have had plenty of time to think.
I guess I need to go searching for those doors.

It's amazing how posting this thread triggered me enough to realize I needed to go inpatient because I was rapidly falling.

Now begins the hard work of therapy and self discovery - to find those doors. And best I remain positive about it

Been dying to try this out with somebody. Meaning follows value? If you can place value on something, your soul or anything, it then has meaning. If you value a drinking glass, it then means something to you and you would defend it. Imagine if your soul, my soul, our souls, had value.

Shattered, I would open doors for anyone I can, including you. I hope someday I can write a guide and movie to help people find their way in life. I have a few things I'm very close to fixing within myself. After that I will have the strength to share this with you.
