Whenever I see others being together, especially a person with a kind disposition and a heart that has purity, it pains me like cold water falling over me to see how often those people get used and mocked by the rest. They have no other passtime but torturing the few pure hearts we have and making their lives a misery. This can give me a feeling in my throat as if I was being choked, it's the feeling of seeing an abominable irony. The person with a kind heart gets punished and called naive, simple, and not suited for this miserable existence of ours.
As I go through many philosophies and different moralities, it seems that our ideal human being almost always includes someone who is caring, compassionate, someone who is not pretentious, and someone who is honest. Not all philosophies say this, but I feel a general agreement between people that this is at least part of what a ideal human being is regarding his heart. Then, I ask myself, what's wrong with us? Why do we torture our most beautiful and loving minds? Didn't we want someone like that person before?
This is the irony of the human condition. We want a kind person, and when we find that person, it seems like we almost don't believe it. We either mistrust them, or we have a horrible nature that makes us want to mistreat the vulnerable and sensitive.
Through life, I come accross people, as anyone else. I always care deeply about them, and sometimes even worry or think about them. But, as the formulaic plot of the human condition says, I get backstabbed, ignored, and I am forgotten. This is so generic that one can almost always predict it, and it makes my body feel sick and disgusted.
Perhaps we all suffer through life, and mistrust others because of it, and go through our miserable existence hurting others and taking away from them.
What do we want?! Do we even know what we want? Do we want a kind person, or someone who is, to put it bluntly, a demonic asshole?
It doesn't matter how much I care or feel, I am always forgotten.
But some light of hope remains in me, for I have hope that somehow all this can be improved. Were this not the case, doom is awaiting at the end of the tunnel we call time...

It often seems that way. I'm glad you haven't lost all hope.

(((Sukothefox)))

There are lots of kind, gentle souls in this world. I think that it just seems as though the opposite get all of the interest of media and general society. For some sick reason, a lot of people would rather talk smack than respect and admiration.

I keep hoping that the nice people gain some ground against the villains until the nice people become the "norm" of general society again.

Some tormented people do not like to see any others who are well. It seems to be something the tormented ones think they cannot have -- so they strike out against them. They hide their own torment so well that hardly anyone outside can see it.
