I have been in therapy for two years now, for depression, anxiety and cutting. My insurance changed recently, but my last therapist decided to keep seeing me anyhow, because I am about to leave for school. My last session with her was a couple of days ago. I am going to be about 4 hours from home. I take Wellbutrin XL-450 mg. What I am wondering is, how should I handle this now? its a Christian school so I don't think I should let anyone at Student Health Services know I'm a cutter. But, I gotta find a way to get prescriptions and I think I should stay in counseling. I am goin to The University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, Ky. Any help or resources would be great as I am kind of freaking out right now.

So are you going to the Heath Service at this school to continue getting your medicine? - is that why you are be weary about letting know your entire mental history.... because you need this place to get your meds and yet you are afraid of how they will react about you being a cutter since they are a Christian facility?

And - for the records, from my POV.... I think you telling or not telling them about your condition is just like being open with any one else you may meet in life (Christian or not) there are some that you will open up with and then there those that you will remain silent with.
BTW - I am a Christian with a mental disorder / depression and I do not judge nor condemn any other person for their issues..... I know & understand.

I don't know what I should do. I am a Christian also, and keeping my issues in mind I am very open-minded, but others may not be so. It scares me. I am unsure of how I will do living with a stranger. The real problem is, what should i do about the medication? I am too afraid to go to Student Health Services. Should I just find a primamry doctor around here to go to for my prescriptions?
