I'm a high school student, in my final year. My friends don't go to my school so I only manage to see them once or twice a week, but it doesn't seem to matter - we've been friends almost 10 years now. What do you DO in your real lifeor 3D life? I also play the violin and the keyboard - been playing the violin since I was 7, and the keyboard since I was 10 or 11. I love films and watch them whenever I get the chance...same with music, I listen to it a lot!

OOoooh cool thread!

Okay me --

When not online ... I have no life. What do you DO in your real lifeor 3D life? Almost true anyways.

Okay, when not online I am a university student studying psychology going for my BA with Honours and a minor in English. (I'm a 2nd year student - almost 3rd year)

I live in residence and across the city from my family (and the family animals - 2 cats and 2 dogs - pictures in the gallery if you're interested).

I volunteer at my university's chaplaincy and thats actually where I met a lot of my friends this past academic year.

Lets see - I read, I listen to a LOT of music (favourite is new country), I love watching movies and television and I love being anywhere where there are animals.

Oh and I love going out with my friends to different places - but I also like doing a lot of things by my lonesome (I'm an ambivert - neither introvert or extrovert).

I don't like to clean - but I do like to do the dishes. I also don't like to (and can't) cook - but I do love to eat!!

And just for the heck of it - I live with a physical disability (called Spina Bifida) where I use a wheelchair as my main mode of transportation.

What do you DO in your real lifeor 3D life?

What do you DO in your real lifeor 3D life? What do you DO in your real lifeor 3D life? What do you DO in your real lifeor 3D life? I've been off for a few days and nearly missed this. I'm 55 . I own an old house that I love and live in with my two dogs. My boyfriend lives stateside but is here 4 days of the week as he is just an hour away. He is wonderful and supportive. We started a vegis garden this year., we like to camp, like to bike (although we haven't all summer.) We also square and round dance and belong to a demo group that dances at festivals. retirement centres.etc. I am trying to paint, and decorate the house. I take walks every morning and night with the two furballs and I read a lot. especially when I can't sleep. I quit my job last august and need to get a job badly but keep stressing and shut down so i am trying to just enjoy life till I can get it together. I did belong to a couple of choirs but haven't done much singing lately and miss it. This summer we have picked a lot of strawberries ,blueberries and this sunday blackberries(40 pounds). We were building a couple of rock walls before the heat came and will get back to them this fall.as well as redesigning some of the garden. I have been collecting rocks from our trips that I am painting on for my yard. Have done a bit of sewing, would like to make a quilt , and maybe try to make my own jelly this year especially jalapeno. MMMM.
I am estranged from my daughter and son and grandchildren and try not to worry about it. They'll come around one day I hope.
I worked as a cashier for 20 plus years , then in a rec centre teaching 3-5 years olds for a couple of years What a wonderful time that was) and then becausse of more hours available left to manage a long term care facitlity in a hospital housekeeping , for another couple till last year when after looking after my mother and stepfather and their deaths I took what I thought would be a short break but I am still not working. I am on the pc but not a lot and trying to be consistent so I can be supportive as well using this site for my support.

Hey everyone. I am 44 and a mother of 2 wonderful sons (16 & 10). Professional business person working alongside high tech engineers by day, I am upgrading to get my Purchasing Manager degree, which is funny because with all my certificates, I only graduated with my high school degree last month. But, the stress is great so at night or weekends I spend my real time with my boys, handsome lover, little dog and 3 budgies. Oddly enough some of my friends consist of drug addicts, alcoholics and reformed from prison and I realize I like their company because they are more real than the corproate world (no, I don't have any of those vises). My corporate friends don't know about my street friends and visa versa. I spent 10 years as a sculptor and had many shows and sold many peices. I've written a lengthy novel (not published) about a woman who finds her strength under adversity. I've owned 7 little businesses but my favorite was a archery/sporting goods store which failed (but what a ride!) I used to live in a big house on a hill, overlooking the city of Vancouver, but now I live in a garage that is redesigned to be a little two story house, surrounded by trees and smelling so sweet. I have never been happier having shed all those useless material possessions and emotional pretense. I really like where I am now. Thanks for letting me share.

Hi, I'm a 30 year-old storm chaser who farms to pay for her hobby, or at least it seems like it. Farming isn't very lucrative. I have seen over twenty tornadoes and have looked up into a funnel. I have a picture of a lightning feeder channel about six feet from me and another of a steam cloud created by a lightning stroke.

I also have a BA in history and a MA. During the process, I decided I enjoyed the freedom farming offers. Sometimes, I have substitute taught.

I like to garden and travel. One of my favorite cities is Vancouver. It is pretty, but I could never live there because another hobby is cross- country sking. Winnipeg is more to my liking.

I am also active in a church.

One of my worst problems which people here have helped me handle is I was born an interesex with parts of both genders. I was raised as a boy, tried to kill myself, when my body began to feminise at puberty, and took male hormones untll they made me sick. When I quit, my body began to change again. A chromosome test showed xx female chromosomes, so now I am getting used to many drastic changes after minor surgery. Given what they put me through over the years, I have a visceral dislike of doctors and therapists, though it is irrational. During my life, I tried to kill myself three times, but I feel better now. As Rob Thomas sang, "I'm not sick, but I'm not well." Basically, I'm pretty happy.
