Ive always been a very positive person, very upbeat, but lately Ive been having a stomach sensation like riding a roller-coaster. Its very brief, almost straight up from my belly button, and doesnt seem to be related to what Ive eaten or any new meds. Ive been on insulin for several years and my dosage was increased substantially a few weeks ago. Otherwise, everything else is about the same. Great wife, friends, no stress, ect. Any help would be very much appreciated ! TY so much !

Hi and welcome to PC. I most definitely feel my anxiety in my stomach in the exact way as you describe as well as butterfly sensations and sometimes even cramping and nausea. That along with racing heart, sweating, shaking and a feeling of being unable to breath.

Good, calming breathing techniques are supposed to help but I have never been able to calm myself down enough to try it. Though I have breathed into a brown paper bag before.

Crying isn't a sign of weakness. It's a sign of having tried too hard to be strong for too long.
