My 18 year old daughter got engaged tonight. She got the ring... It's pretty. I hope they wait a while before marrying, but they're pretty sturdy at this point (one year in). No boy could love my girl more. I saw him last night at the ER with her and he's her rock...she's his love. It was precious.
She's been dealing with horrible pain from herniated discs and she's been barely tolerable (understandably of course) and to show his devotion, he proposed in the midst. He's a good boy. I'm happy, but crying... That's my baby girl... KD

She has two (it runs in her daddy's family and with him. he has two herniated and one bulging right now). We found out last night.  They're treating it pretty aggressively right now.Thank you so much. KD

Thank you so much everyone! I'm going to have them read this post a bit later so keep them coming please.
He's a good boy. Hubby got him a job where he works and he does very well. He's been there for daughter through some really bad things already...especially prolonged illness. I saw him almost cry, treat her gingerly, and be her rock at the hospital. I told hubby that no one could love our daughter more. She's doing better with her back too! Maybe love can cure all.  KD
