Wow, thanks jax. I am turning it on NOW! How ironic with all that has happened with my daughter and I in the past 24 hours.

I usually watch Dateline, watched this one tonight. Also the Matt Lauer special afterwards, about the florida teacher.

Yeah, I watched both of the Dateline specials. The Matt Lauer special about that Florida teacher, pedophile-child-rapist, Debra LaFave, really got to me . . . click link to watch http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/14499056/

Debra LaFave claims bipolar disorder made her rape her 14 years old student!!!

She gave all these reasons why she behaved the way she behaved. She claims the 14 years old student was the aggressor. She claims he lied.

All I can wonder is . . . what about the 14 years old victim?

I'm angry. She almost had me sucked into believing her pathetic story. But she has no remorse. Justification is a defense mechanism, and all I heard from her interview was defensiveness. She is sick, yes. But she needs to be behind jail bars!

First, I'm not a parent. Second, at what age is a kid not a kid?

They are doing a good service, but, they only catch the 'dumb' ones. If you notice, the 'real' predators get their prey. They snatch. Many I think don't venture into chats. Should be common sense they are mostly traps anyhow.

Hence my Name, but, why don't we hear about say 13-16yo girls getting pregnant by guys of their ages??? Maybe the parents should be jailed, even if just for a night or two. No easy solution.

Just my two cents
Fred
