I don't post to FB much as too many people are already jealous of hubby and me--we are really well known, have a nice car, housse, travel a lot. But I enjoy reading what others are doing. I also belong to a lot of groups of support for mysathenia gravis patients, as I have symptoms of that disease and am under testing for evaluation of possibly having it. Have gotten hooked to some of the games in the past and played too much on there and spent a bunch of money doing it too. mafia wars was the worst--but I have freinds all over the world now, that I used to play mafia wars with and chat with. I think the key with FB is to decide what you want it for, if you do, and use it just for that. If it doesn't suit you, don't use it, except maybe for those few friends or family you really want to communicate with.
Thanks for this!

facebook is the re-living of ones younger years, specifically, high school. Many who join allow it to take over their life, as though they went back X years back to when they were teens. So yeah, I could see fb causing jealousy, as foolishly as hs did.

I don't go on facebook as much as I used to because when me and my boyfriend broke up, I felt so ashamed and upset and jealous of my friends getting married and enjoying their times with their boyfriends.

I am jealous of their lives. Mine is so desolate and non-existing, where theirs are fun and partying, tagging each other in pictures and check-ins. I am so jealous of them I have deleted a few from high school that I used to hang out with and now they are doing things without me and enjoying their life.

Facebook is for showing off to all of your friends, I am guilty of that too.
