I took multiple of the online tests such as anxiety, depression, loneliness, eating disorder, bipolar, and Do i need therapy quiz and i tested high for each of the disorders. I am wondering if I should tell my parents or not because I am not 100 hundred percent sure. Also I am afraid to tell them because they will think i am a disappointment.
Please give me any advice that you can I really need some help. |

If you think they will be supportive then tell them. If not you need to talk to someone you can trust, someone who will not tell other people, but will be supportive. [/COLOR]

Talk to someone if you can ask your parents for a therapist for 'school issues' if you can't tell them the truth.

Everyone who takes those tests can find something off in themselves but then again, there may be something to it if you think so yourself, can you go to a school therapist?

If you parents are the loving type of parents sure. I brought it up to my parents in college and learned that my mother had struggled with depression so they understood and helped me. Later on I found out that the entire side of my mother's family struggled with mood disorders so it was in my genes.

I just started at my new school and I don't really trust the therapist there to talk to him/her.

Why would they think you are a disappointment?

I would not worry if I had depression or whatnot at this stage, I would ask my parents to take me to my medical doctor, get a good physical and talk with them about any issues I thought I had and discuss what s/he would suggest. You should not have to take an online test to tell if you are depressed, anxious, having social difficulties, trouble studying or other problems you don't know how to begin to work on solving.

The important thing is to talk to someone.
Begin small and get bigger. Talking to your parents is a big step, but if you are scared of disappointing them, then you are seeing it as a flaw. If it turns out later in life this is a huge deal/problem then you will see it as a flaw in you and if you admit it, makes you a disappointment. Start small and talk to someone. Talk to your parents, write them a note, if you think they won't believe you ask for them to take you to the doctors. Do you have a family friend? pref an adult? Do something, advocate for yourself.
