Now i know obviously i dont have a sixth sense, but i had a strange experience last night....

it was quite late, and everyone in my house had gone to bed, and on his way to bed my dad always locks the front door and back door etc. well a few hours after he had gone to bed i went downstairs to get something to eat, and ont he way down the stairs i started thinking of 2 things, i kept thinking the front door wasnt locked, and secondly, spiders, i think its because it was pitch black downstairs and i always assosciate spiders with the dark, well when i got to the bottom of the stairs i turned a light on and i was automatically drawn to look at my front door (its not in sight as you turn the the light on, you have to turn around). well anyway, i walked up to my front door and noticed a small spider on the door, it was tiny, so small that you couldnt see it from where i was when i turned the light on. well when i was near the front door i kept thinking "is the door locked?" so i checked, and it wasnt locked. my dad never forgets to lock that front door, and i dont know why did last night. it is so rare that he forgets, so why was i drawn to it the only night he forgot to lock it? i never wonder if the door is locked, and i never check either, except last night.

things like this has happened before, a few weeks ago for instance. noe of what i am telling is a lie, this genuinely happened. i was sat at my desk where i am now and i have a telephone here on a shelf. well i was sat typing up a letter for my dad and suddenly for no reason i reached for the phone, it wasnt ringing or anything. but just as my hand got close to it it rang. how odd is that! my dad was here at the time and he was baffled as to why i did it. i was busy typing and suddenly just lifted my hand up to pick up the phone as if it were ringing. ive done it before with my mobile, i'll go to reach for it and just as i do i get a text come thorugh. i find it so strange.

what drew me to the front door, and what made me think of the front door being unlocked, and what drew me to my phone seconds before it rang?

could it be a sixth sense lol? i doubt it, but even so, its strange.

has anyone esle had moments like this, it is freaky!

ive done that before too, when i know what someone is going to say before they say it. i sometimes get a situation where i feel like its happened before, and i know what will happen next, and it pans out how i saw it in my head! i think thats called deja vu isnt it?

another thing thats happened before is that i will be thinking of a song that i havent heard of for ages, i dont even know why i start thinking of that song but then a couple of mins later i hear it on the radio or it comes on my computer (i have over 1300 songs playing on random so the chances of it coming on are very slim). it doesnt happen all the time, only once every so often, but it is baffling when it does.

whats esp by the way?

esp is extra sensory perseption...sort of like a sixth sense...means you can feel things before they happen....with my daughter she never knows when it is going to happen...I mean it isn't something she can just concentrate on and then it will happen...she never knows when it will happen...sounds like you are like that too...other people will just say it was a coincidence...but checking the door with the spider? sounds more like esp to me...sometimes I will be thinking of her and the phone rings...she says mom I know you wanted me to call...lol I still think it is cool...!!!! Enjoy it!!!

It does sound like esp. maybe something that can be strengthened with practice... Sylvia Brown says we all have it. we just have to recognise it and use it.. practice.. hone up on it.

My mom likes Sylvia Brown. I am still thinking about it.. Sixth Sense?

ive never heard of esp until now, sounds cool lol.

it is never controlled when i get these wierd situations, i can just be far away in thought and suddenyl it will happen, like the door and spider thing, i was thinking of food initially, i felt hungry so was walking to the kitchen to get a bowl of serial, i was in bed before hand. and the telephone ringing when i was at my desk, i was concentrating on what my dad was saying, he was speaking and i was typing it, he dont know how to use computers lol so i have to type up his work stuff.

strange....

i will let you know if it happens again.

I believe in having a sixth sense and I also believe in telepathy and cinergy. My belief is that children have it much more so than adults that have been conditioned or life's experiences have put that sensitivity in the background. Some adults seem to be able to hang on to that gift.

I don't know how to explain it, but I believe in it. It's happened to me many times! It's up to each of us that senses it in ourselves to decide whether we want to nurture that gift or not. Personally, I don't. Sixth Sense?

Isn't it wonderful the connections we have beyond the power of seeing with our eyes? Most of the time, our minds are so cluttered with other things, that our "mind's" eye cannot see or enable us to respond to our connections. I love it when things like this happen to me...it makes me feel more connected to others on a higher level Sixth Sense?

Gotta like it when the synergy kicks into a scenario Sixth Sense?

I don't believe in coincidences... but synchronicity reigns imo!

I haven't really researched it yet...but I do much better at clear thinking and vision work if I don't eat meat! Go figure. When I stick with fruits and vegetables only, then I have an easy time of intuition and sensing. Sixth Sense?

I used to be able to tell when the phone was going to ring. I would get this chill in my spine..and then the phone would ring!

That could be a sensitivity to the electrical impulses that all machines emit. I emit high EMF and can shut down watches, computers, radios etc.

Now, when you know WHO it is that is calling (before it rings) THEN that's also kewl imo Sixth Sense?
