I really have a lot of things wrong with me... thankfully I am rarely hallucinating anymore, only ting that is getting better.

I have been getting impulsive lately, & it seems to be worsening. Usually I wont act on impulse, but lately I have, been acting on impulse more & more.

Is there are reason for this?

Hi there, what sort of things trigger these reactions? Can you give us a bit more info?

Fox, there could be a lot of reasons for increased impulsiveness. Mine comes and goes--like a cycle. Sometimes, its my meds or sleep issues or hormones or just plain increase in my psychosis...its hard to keep myself under control all the time. Maybe you could tell us a little more about it so we could offer more support......D.

I agree. I struggle with impulsivity a lot. This year it's been especially bad, but I know that a lot of it had to do with getting triggered at one point by my last psychiatrist and then having a super triggering visit with family in the summer. It does help somewhat if you can pinpoint any possible triggers; that way you can take care of yourself, acknowledge what you're going through and find better ways to take care of yourself (rather than acting out impulsively, that is). Hope this helps...

Like I will just buy something on impulse.. It isn't bad yet. But I use to rarely do it.

I will just do things on impulse like say stuff to people, or post something.

For what triggering me? IDK, I do have ADHD(i feel like my adhd is getting less & less,)...But it has never been this bad.
