hi all.

i hope you are all doing ok and things are going good. i havent been in the forums properly now for many weeks, so i havent kept tabs on how you all are. i havent forgot you and i think about you all everyday. but as the subject of this posts states, i have one week left at work until i leave my current job for good. so all i wanted to say is that i am feeling better within myself recently and i have several of you to thank for that, so id like to make a promise if i may. i promise once i have left my job and have the days free to do as i wish, i promise i will return to the forums and try to support any of you who need support. i would rather wait until i have left my job as i am quite tired and run-down by the time i get home on an evening, and weekends just disappear too quickly. but i aim to do 2 main things whilst im off work:

1. continue on my new song projects, i have bought new software that allows me to make songs which is being delivered tomorow so i am going to make music often in the next few weeks.

and

2; another big priority of mine is to return to the forums for you guys. i have been able to work on myself so much in the past few weeks, and alot of it was done with help from you here, so i want to return the favour, and try my hardest to help any of you who need it.

i would like to thank you all now for the help i said about. you dont know how much it has helped. i am now in a comfortable place mentally and i feel i have regained control of my emotions and my life. so id like to share my re-found strength again.

i miss you all more and more everyday and i look forward to coming back next weekend.

so for now, take care and i will speak to you all soon. stay safe and strong.

simon

What a wonderful post. I can feel in your post, that you have come a long way since a few weeks ago. It's so great to hear the strength and conviction you have for the upcoming projects.
I hope your song projects will be very successful.
It will be great to have you back on board. We have all missed you.
Take care,
Linda One weeks time

well today was my last day in work. it went well i suppose. i felt a little down after leaving because i had to say good bye to so many people. and the prospect of having a relationship with Julie has all fallen to pieces. at least it happened now and not when ive fallen deeper. i am trying to remain positive tonight, but i am tired so i feel slightly negative. i wont fight it though, i will only make myself even more tired with no success. as long as i get good sleep and keep focused on the positives, i will soon drop the bad mood i find myself in tonight. and i left for all the positive reasons, its just the emotional friendship level that hits abit deep sometimes. and today was a good day in work, so many people were so kind to me and gave me an excellent send off, so that was very special to me. and i suppose its just taken it out of me a little. so i will pamper myself this weekend and start a new week as a new start in life.

im back to the forums now, i feel its now time to return. so i look forward to seeing you all around, and blimey! ive realised there are may new members here too so i have much catching up to do!!

see you all around soon

It's so natural to feel a bit down when leaving a place you are so accustomed to. After 15 years at the same newspaper, it was a bit depressing to me too when I left. I miss some of my co-workers very much, we had become "family" in a big sense of the word. Keep up that positive attitued Simon, you are doing great!!!
