I think if you filled out the drug survery (which I did) that will come up on a Google search. Try it & see if anything else comes up. I don't have any stalkers, but I would like the stuff revealed here to stay here. Maybe that is too much to hope for in this internet era.--Suzy

So far the only thing I've found when doing google searches are posted articles from this site, no threaded discussions have popped up.
Good luck (((((Scorpaen))))) Jean |

If you are concerned about your privacy based on your username/nic, then yes, you should probably change it in your profile (which will be sent to an administrator for approval).
Welcome, btw ![]()

Scorpean, I'd say, first, remove your picture, I don't know if people can get here or not, I feel really safe, but if you have somebody going around looking for you and the fisrt thing they see is your pic, mm, I don't think that'd help.
By the way, Welcome! |

Welcome here, so far I have found this site rather safe, I think this would be one of your best options if you wanted to post. I do hope you stay....

Anyone that googles topics like - depression, Dissociative Identity Disorder, Multiple personality disordrer, Bipolor disorder, Schizophrenia, psychotic disorders, PTSD, Post Traumatic Stress Dosirder, Self injury, Cutting, (basically anything that psych central has on their main web page and resourses and so on) will find a search result that includes Psych central. That search result brings the person to the main website page.
The main page (Home) of psych central has icons called "community" and the subject lines of recent threads and posts that people are posting to are also listed on Psych Centrals main webpage as the community members are posting to them. This means that ANYONE that sees Psych Central's "Home" page can see what posts and threads are being posted to and they can click on those links to read what is being posted. from main psych central home page : http://psychcentral.com/ Support Community Come join our self-help support community and share with others. Get your own blog now, or check out some recent posts: Wish me luck blood test safe from google search? Question? ? ? ? ? I just wanted to share... More recent posts... And there is no guarentee as to who is coming to psych central by way of search engines like google. the people reading the information on the Psych Central Website including these community message boards can be anyone in the whole world wide web including family friends, enemys, on line preditors our personal abusers and so on. The way - I - see it is that - I - was able to read the community message boards with out actually registering as a member so 0ther people can too. and - I - was able to find Psych Central by following links and google searches so other people can too.. and - I - was able to enter the community boards so other people can too. So as a protection measure - I - personally do not post ANYTHING that - I - would not tell the people in - MY - real life. and I change personal information such as names places and time frames. That way - I - do not have to worry about if - MY - family and so on come by - MY - posts and threads and blog. . |
