I can't imagine EVER doing that!! I don't know what parents are thinking when they do that! You never know what could happen, either to you inside the store or outside in the parking lot! ARGH!!

Well it"s a bit rude to leave the subject on when the rest of us can"t read the post.

Someone very close to me left her kid in the car when he was 3 ... he got out of the car to follow Mummy and was killed by a speeding driver.

Is that the sort of thing you were talking about?

when i used to work as a parking attendant i saw loads of kids left strapped into the back seats of the illegally parked cars whilst their parents went shopping,

it didnt stop me giving them parking tickets but i did make notes of what they had done so that when they tryed to appeal the ticket the reps and appeals team would see from my notes that they had left there children in the car alone and for how long

In Florida, you can't even leave your dog in the car alone!

just this week in Atlanta a lady claimed to have left her child in a running car and someone took the car and child. they found the child dead and later found out the whole story was a lie. the mother and her bf had killed the child. so sad.

With my apologies to MyBest, that is the article that she had posted. For reasons of her own, she felt it best to delete it.

DrunkSunflower Sometimes it's the software that doesn't delete the subject line! Think before you accuse, ok?? Never leave a child in the car

Um....I understand how difficult it can be to get the children out of the car to run into somewhere quickly. Like when I am at Go-Mart getting gas or running into the post office to get my mail I leave my babies in the car. I understand why some parents do it, but to leave them in there while your shopping and stuff like that, well that is entirely to long for a person to leave their children in the car and in that case I disagree strongly.
