For over a month I've been going thru nausea, vomiting, sweats, and dizzy spells. They usually last a few days. The last one was at work and wasn't a pretty sight to say the least. I finally went and saw my doc yesterday, and after getting chewed out for not seeing him sooner, he gave me a few meds that may or may not help. He's not optimistic about it. He says if they don't work, he wants to admit me to the hospital to run a battery of tests to get to the bottom of this. I should be grateful that he's being so aggressive, but frankly, it's got me paranoid. We'll see what happens, I can't go on doing this. The bad days are happening more and more often.

I'll check in on my good days with y'all. I'm going to write Bear, MJ, and Darkeyes and keep them informed on how the tests are going. If I can't, Mary will. I hope everyone understands how hard it is to sit in front of this thing and write when all you want to do is get sick...yuck.

I hope everyone is taking good care of themselves, and you know you're always in my thoughts, and my heart.

Greg

Hi Greg,

Boy, sounds like you've been having a hard time lately. I'm glad to hear that your doc is being aggressive about finding out what's going on. I know it must be hard keeping up with everyone here when your feeling so baddly. I will be waiting to hear how your doing.

You'll be my prayers.

Love,
Wendy

bp take care and let us know how it goes.

try not to worry too much. just because the doctor can't be sure what it is doesn't mean it is necessarily something bad. it could just be a lot of simple things that could cause it, and the tests are to determine the root. could be a virus or a stress problem and obviously those would not be treated the same way. the tests just mean he wants to narrow it down and treat it properly rather than just keep taking guesses and throwing different meds at it. which i think is the right way to go (the tests, not the medicine parade. i did that when i was young with bad pediatrician who could not properly diagnose my colitis, not a fun time in my life.)

good luck and hope it gets cleared up quickly.

You, take it easy, maybe it is all the anxiety getting to you, you are dealing with rough stuff, and you know the job thing is not helping, enough to give someone an ulcer.
My dear friend, I am wishing you well, I feel confident that you will do fine, not to minimize your problem with your health, I just wanted to remind you that prolonged stress can bring on some really nasty physical problems, perhaps getting to the exact stressor and treating it will help you and before you know it you'll be feeling better, try not to worry, though I know that is very hard not to do when a person has to get all kinds of tests, but hang in there.
Also remember you have loads of friends here cheering you on, sort of like emotional cheerleaders?
Please take care, dear one

PS PM us anytime too !!

Sincerely,
DE

Please take care of yourself and take it easy! I'll miss you, but of course I understand. Sorry you have to go through this. I hope they get to the bottom of it and you feel better very soon.

Love,

Greg, I will miss you alot. It's good that you'll find out what is wrong and feel better. That sensation most of the time is very draining on you physically and mentally.

Sending you tons of hugs and warm wishes plus prayers for a swift recovery.

xoxoxo

Damn, I really wish I had been able to talk to you today then. I'm sorry that's all still going on and I do hope the doc does get to the bottom of it. I just know it's temporary and everything will be ok. It has to be. You're a superhero, remember?
you know I love ya to bits and you'll be in my thoughts and prayers (as you always are.)

Prayers and good thoughts heading your way. We'll see you back soon.

Gosh, sweetheart, do take care! I noticed that you haven't been around much, so I've been thinking of you and a little concerned. I do hope and pray that you start to feeling better soon. This pills from the doctor just might help. I hope so. Tell your doctor a thank you from me--I think it's great that he is genuinely concerned about his patients. I'm sure it must be kind of frightening that the doctor is concerned, but it is a blessing. I'd rather have a doctor who cares about me. I know that I'd be a little (or a lot?) paranoid, too, if I were in your place. I really do hope that you do better quickly. I really care about you, Greg! Please don't worry about us, let us do the worrying, and do keep in touch and let us know how you are doing. We'll miss you!
