UPDATE I went to the GP in my uni town, who was much more professional. He referred me to a therapist, and even agreed with me on the point that despite the abortion being time sensitive, my mental health was the priority. Unfortunately it could be up to four weeks before I see them, although some people have to wait much longer so I'm thankful either way.

I haven't planned the abortion yet, as during the weekend I've had constant bleeding, cramps, and clots. It looks like I may be miscarrying, but I won't be able to see a GP until after the bank holiday. Hopefully I can get an appointment for Tuesday.

Go to A&E or at least call NHS 111, A&E will be able to arrange a scan to confirm whether you've miscarried, if you don't think that is necessary call NHS 111 and ask their advice.

From what I've been told, as it's so early in the pregnancy, miscarriages are not considered an emergency unless you are losing a significant amount of blood, so I'm just going to wait and make an emergency appointment with the GP.

I'd ring NHS 111 just to be on the safe side. If you get any extreme pain or light headedness or temperature anyhting like that then do go to A&E. Take care of yourself.
