brainhi, I no longer get upset with my wife, even my frustration with her is nearly gone, so perhaps this would be the ideal time to have a conversation with her about how the house's appearance is depressing for me. Together we can find a solution that works for us.

Thank you for your help.

I find it hard to just start the process of cleaning as i have a lot of my husbands junk around and no basement or place to store stuff. maybe this post will get me motivated to work on some cleaning even though i feel useless most of the time as i am tired from my meds all the time

I know exactly how you feel. I finally figured out if I want to get any cleaning done I have to skip my Trazodone but then of course I don't sleep, sigh

Living along & not having enough time to get anything really done is frustrating to me......needing boxes for organizing....& wanting to get the plastic ones that seal so that the spiders don't get inside & breed.....as they do in the clutter outside the boxes.......just seems to feel like an overwhelming task.....I get started in one area...then get distracted.....& by the time I get back to that previous area.....it's totally out of control again.....there just isn't enough of ME to take care of everything that seems to be growing rather than organizing even when I throw things away......I also haul my own trash to the dump so that causes a pile of it's own between times I haul....but only one person it was pointless to pay the high price to have it picked up at my farm.

But I really love to have my life & my house organized.....it just takes so much time & effort that just this one person can't seem to accomplish it.
