thank you all again......this is my day off and both their vehicles are home.... but i'm working in my yard and cleaning and refuse to let them intimidate me.

i know that abuse happens everywhere, but this is the coolest neighborhood and everyone gets along.....except for them.....even the cops "want" her. evidently she cussed a catholic church member out for parking on our street...last i knew the city owns the streets......so, the cops would LOVE for her to cross the property line. (so would Fayeroe she hates her)

and the friend stayed and i actually slept soundly. boy, do i feel better......not sleeping eats much lunch and more.

You are so strong! Please be safe, take care of you and your family (I know you will). I certainly wouldn't want to meet your angry side! Keep tough, and stay your ground. Butch (and the others) are blessed to have you as an angel and advocate for them. They need you and you are so selfless to do this for them.

You did the right thing to call the authorities, andI hope they are taking this seriously and putting an end to such animal cruelty. You know, I would be scared too. People who train dogs to fight could be capable of any kind of crime, in my opinion.
I want to hear how this is working out for you and the dogs.

wayne, the neighbor is telling other neighbors to watch their dogs as i will have them picked up........... that is the craziest thing that he could be going around saying. everyone knows that his dogs were abused and chained........

i've been home, alone, all day and haven't seen anyone from over there. i slept for a very long time. this has worn me down.

right now i need to clean house. i just finished typing another two page report about why i know that Butch was fought. i hope i get to testify at the hearing.

well, carry your camera with you when you are outside, just in case they do come over and then claim your dog went over there or such.

Pat, you posted here long ago about this, when you first moved in. I would think that printing that off, with the time date stamps and all, would add creedence to your claims.

Use the advanced search. (not the fill in the blank above, but click on the link below ADVANCED search)

Then, if you can recall any of the key words... not sure you knew the dog's name back then... but you can put one (or a phrase if you are sure you said it) in " " in the search for... you can also add your own screen name on the next window area... and you can on the left select the main forum you wish to search, if you think you know where it was put...

I always click to view a bit of the post itself...

You need to determine the date/time period. I doubt you want only the stuff from the last week... so why not put as the time as how many months ago it was that you moved in, up until now or a week ago (so you don't get all the latest posts to sort through too.)

It's hard to believe that things like this happen, but we know they do. So when reality such as this is right next door it becomes even more emotional. {{{{{{{{{{Great job, kid!}}}}}}}}}} You are right to not want to show intimidation--that is just what your neighbor wants. YOU have the POWER now and with the police in charge it will only get better!

This would be a great story for you to write about eventually--facing and dealing with these issues and fears. I love to read inspiring and emotional, heart-warming stories! It would be a great sharing-learning experience.

I can't wait to hear more about how this all ends up...and how Butch reacted to seeing a familiar friendly face at the shelter. You are an awesome human being.
