Ok.. I found another really cool forum I want to register at. Been trying to do it since last night. But they have one of those registration images that you have to retype in a box to make sure your not a spammer. Well the image wont show. And I've tried clicking on it and still nothing shows up. Even though the directions say to do that if you dont see an image. I've tried contacting the admin about it. But still no answer.

So do any of you computer guru's know how to get around this or make it appear so I can get registered?

I posted this here because the Technical forum on site here is for this site and the other places linked to here. If it belongs down there yet .. please move it . Thanks!! Dang it!!!!!!

Oh ok. I don't know how to fix that problem. Maybe try going up to tools on your browser, selecting internet options and then delete cookies and temp files. Somethings this clears away glitches.

There's no link that says something like "if you are unable to view image" or something?

Are you using Firefox? (Mozilla)

It's fabulous for sites that like it and sucks for ones that don't ...

Other than that it could well be a site issue as others have said.

Ok this is my findings.

On IE~ the register image doesnt show.. but there is a box with something in it .. I cant tell what because it goes away so quickly. I dont think its an x though. I've tried reclicking on it and that doesnt help.

Mozilla Firefox~ It doesnt show at all. And when I click on the spot where I know its supposed to be, it pops up and is gone.. I've used the CONTACT US link on the webpage to let them know what the problem is but I still have not heard back from them yet. I have sent 3 messages to them since last night. A couple of my friends have also tried to register and they are having the same problem. So I guess its the site for sure now .. not just my computer.

Thanks for trying to help... if you think of anything else that might work.. please let me know!!

This happens to me sometimes and I locate the contact information for the website owner, moderator, or administrator. It should be an email address. Then I email them from my own emal box letting them know I are interested in registering but theres a problem in their registration area- that the security anti spam letters are not showing up on the screen for you to type them in. Then I wait. I usually get an email back with in a day or so telling me they thank me for notifying them of the problem and it is being fixed or worked on and when I should be able to register.

is there contact information somewhere on the site you are wanting to register for and if so try emailing them
