Never mind the diagnosis, seek help for the symptoms that bother you most. And stop stealing

Hello susancook911: I'm sorry to read of the struggles you are experiencing. It's difficult for anyone here on PC to really give you very specific advice. It sounds, from what you wrote, like you're having quite a variety of symptoms.

For some reason, the treatment you've been receiving is not working. Some possible reasons for this could be: the med's you're taking aren't the best for you, the dosages are incorrect, or you're not taking them consistently. Are your med's being prescribed by a psychiatrist rather than a general practice doctor? How often to you see this physician? How often do you see your therapist? Are you able to tell both your doctor & your therapist what's happening with you day-to-day?

From my perspective, it sounds as though the treatment you're receiving is just not working for you. So either you yourself, or someone else such as a family member, needs to advocate on your behalf to make sure that you're getting treatment that is appropriate to your condition. After a year, to be still having as much difficulty as you describe, suggests to me that something is wrong & needs adjusting. Best wishes...

I believe that having ANY thoughts of harming yourself and/or others is VERY serious. You should seek immediate professional help.

I wish you well.

Have you been checked for DID? You didn't say what kind of schizophrenia you have..paranoid, hebephrenic, what? Are you on meds of any kind? Borderline and DID( Dissociative Identity Disorder) sometimes go hand in hand but until you get the schizophrenia under control its going to be even more confusing for you...I am a retired social worker and have a paranoid schizophrenic boyfriend whom I also believe has DID.....there are amnesiac episodes with DID a lot....but until you get the schizophrenia under control you won't know what is what...it is best not to use labels to label yourself such as manipulative as judging yourself will only make you feel worse and more confused...it certainly seems like you have a lot going on...are you married or have you been? Many problems are just JUNK like normies have. Let me know how you are doing Susan...Blessings to you...hope this helps somewhat...
