Can anyone give me advise. Ever since i was very young, ive sensed and heard ghosts. Or thought i had abilities. Now knowing that i am cyclothimic, and having done much research including stories here, i now believe its always been the illness and nothing else, psychosis ??
Well, my depression scores getting higher but so is my anxiety levels on mood tracker.
Is the feelings of being watched and followed, seeing shadows passing etc psychosis. Would i be better going back on meds because its getting rediculous now. Im jumpy, wont go upstairs alone without lights on. I keep looking behind me when im at the sink peeling potatoes. Abilify gave me terrible side effects.
I dont want to go to docs to be looked at like ive grew horns.
I would be greatful for any help from your own experiences.
Just realised this shouldve been posted on the psychosis forum,

I have experiences like that though only can recall a couple incidents where I actually 'heard' something usually its more just a feeling of a presence(such as the feeling watched and being followed) and sometimes I've seen beings that do not seem to be of the physical realm. Not sure what cyclothimic is, so not sure what that would have to do with such things.....I personally am not sure these experiences are really spiritual entities/beings or like ghosts or if its just my disordered brain or maybe its both. In my case It hasn't interfered enough in life for me to worry too much. As for your situation if it is psychosis and meds have helped you before maybe that is a good idea...but I certainly couldn't tell you whether its psychosis or if some sort of ability with such limited knowledge as I have.

Do you have a therapist or see any mental health professionals that you're comfortable talking with?
