does the computer and CEN have anything in common?

I've noticed these "feelings" I am having:

sitting here with a longing for connection and feeling frustrated.

can't seem to get your needs met.

can't communicate.

feeling people don't like me.

no response.

no emotional attunement

feeling like giving up on here.

sometimes I get the feeling of erasing my name and albums because it is dangerous to be so "out there."

Too much worried about what others think of me.

I don't have any answers or opinions for you, susanemily, but you aren't alone. I have the same issues, sometimes, and I'm willing to bet most everybody here does, too.

Thank you ArthurDent for responding to me.

It is hard to admit to needing people.

But it is nice when they are kind and don't make you wait too long.

susanemily, Do you mean that being online triggers CEN?

Good question. I've been feeling absolutely rotten from being on Facebook lately. Everything you mentioned. Feeling misunderstood...frustrated with the stupid sh *t people do and want others to agree with their poorly thought out actions. I am very aware that a lot of the feelings I have originated in my childhood and Facebook really triggers stuff...but seldom resolves things.

You said it so well about your feelings for Facebook. It doesn't seem like a place to get any understanding. It seems more about B.S.ing. Who needs that.

I don't mean to cut you off but I have to go watch a movie with husband.

I hope we'll get some more feedback on this .
Thank you for writing PoppyRoad.
Thanks for this!

Today I was thinking:
The setting was right for feelings to emerge.
I was upstairs, in the loft, on the computer a long time.
Looking out the window, at the woods, on such a winters day.
I was trying to change my avitar......no success.
I was trying to post a song............no success.
I posted a recipe for chop suey and felt kind of foolish.
I couldn't seem to get in on any communication.

It wasn't till the next morning the idea came about the computer and the feelings of CEN.
I was excited that something came of the frustration and I had something to write about.
I also met some nice people who I appreciate very much.
I will keep trying to communicate.
Thanks for this!

Susanemily, you have me.

Your statement about nobody likes you says everything. It's so hard feeling like this.
I think many people feel like that in places as Facebook. I guess that it much worse for people who suffer infance neglect.
There are very few places where I feel comfortable in social nets.

It's not easy to find people who can be significant friends, much more difficult on the internet.
Have you tried with forums where there are people who share a specific hobby?

Again, your thinking about noone liking you is a barrier itself. It's very difficult to find receptive people when you are giving, unconsciously, this message.
There are so many people. Many of them are going to like you.
Have you heard your posts and messages? They are full of kindness and politeness towards the readers. Is it possible that a person like that isn't going to be appreciated by others?

Beautiful song, Susan.
Song for song.
I can't stick it on from Youtube bc my i-phone doesn't give me the option but I was thinking in this:

Ain't no Mountain high enough
Ain't no river wide enough
Ain't no Valley low enough...
