Not so long ago, a member (I'm sooooo sorry, but I cannot recall which of you) posted about a problem having to remove stuff from a patio for four long months while the building was pressure cleaned or painted. It meant not having a garden and displacing a neighor's extra wheelchair.

I'm just wondering if there's an update on that situation.

It was me, Wants.

I got Cher's stuff off her porch and we're waiting for another friend to come and pick up her deck chairs.

I have all my garden stuff inside. I asked if I could leave it out longer, but was told no. I stacked most of it in a shopping buggy. It doesn't look neat, but it's the best I can do.

Hugs,

Jan

What happened re: pressure cleaning Sorry you asked the mgmt for more time? They already showed they aren't lenient. There's no reason to have everyone's patios cleared for months.... grrrr

What I would do is talk to the pressure cleaners when you find them on site... and see if they can do your building first? Or find out who is doing the job and call them about it?

I wish ppl didn't complicate our lives so, don't you?

How about a hanging planter inside? Small veggie garden that way, or flowers.

(((((((( Sky )))))))

Management told me they were doing the other side first and when I went outside, they were doing my side! Aack!!!

I am going to the local feed/seed/flower store Sat. and I'm going to try to get a stand and a couple baskets I am going to try to grow some morning glories inside. I've got to get a small grow light. Do you know if a plain fluorescent light will work?

Hugs,

Jan

Oh I think that would be fine! In fact, I think the "grow lights" are just regular fluorescent lights at a higher cost.

If they are doing your building first, then you can put your stuff out on the patio once they're done What happened re: pressure cleaning and I wouldn't ASK then. (I use the old military phrase...it's easier to apologize than to ask permission What happened re: pressure cleaning )

January, I'm so sorry that I couldn't remember the thread was yours. I looked and looked last night, and I couldn't find the starter thread. I knew it was you or one of about three others.

Let us know how your garden grows.

Wants,

It's just fine you couldn't remember. I'm just happy that you cared enough to ask!
