Get Hit And Lose a foot

My brother in law was it by a school bus and got his foot run over .all the guy got was a ticket , My brother in law had to have sugary with rehab and whril poor everyday .2 weeks later he will lose his foot to this. They doctors can't save his foot it has gange green in it so they can't do anything more. With this going on we just don't know what will happen with his home and his cats at this point, We know right now he will have more sugary and more rehab and hopely a new foot but it will take a while for the stump to heal befor a new foot.We do have a lawer working on this, When my sister is told I don't know how she will take this news. We were all hoping he wouldn't loose his foot, I just hope this guy gets everything he decerves , My brother in lawer won't be do the things he was doing befor this .He was so active and now leaves a qucation in everyones mind . Hiw will this afect him and our family the rest of our lives? My brother in law is a little slow and some of this he understands and some of it he doesn't. Anyone here had this happen to them or a member of their family?
2 years ago I lost my mother to cancer and now this ,If seems like the years go by and they get worse from 2001- 2002 -2005 -2007 all these years somethings has happend.

RR, i am so sorry that this has happened to your brother-in-law. As Wants said, be sure that a good lawyer represents him. i doubt that the bus company can get away without some liability in this.

my nephew just lost a leg in an oil well drilling accident and he is still in pretty bad condition. it will be a long time before we know anything about his future.
