Venting about school

I'm not entirely sure if this goes here.

I'm mainly venting, because I'm just so upset, sad and angry at the same time right now.

Been waiting for the school I applied to to finish calculating Financial Aid, which I was already worried about because the financial aid adviser told me to put "yes" under a section that asked "do parents provide more than half their support" because my mom provides housing and food, but she can't pay for anything, so I was already afraid of what they'd do.

Well, today they finally finished (with only two days to spare until the next term), and they didn't even give me enough to cover ONE class! Now I owe them $612 that I can't pay, because I have no money, and that my mom can't pay because she has no money. Unless I can convince them to give me more money to cover classes, I can kiss my college career goodbye.

It's like the universe doesn't want me to complete my schooling.

If I have to wait a bunch of years just to start up college again, I'm changing my major, I'm not going to waste my life on schooling for this one if I can't get it going now.

I'm just very upset with the financial aid department, and I'm very upset with myself.

I can understand your being upset. It must have been quite a blow. I'm glad that you were able to come here and vent. Sometimes that can really help. I hope that you find a solution to the problem as it would be a shame for you to have to put off your education.

Try not to be so upset with yourself! Can you tell them you made an error on your form and resubmit it?
