As apart of my Theater class I have to perform on stage at the Tamarack tomorrow. I'm a bit terrified. I have never performed in front of one person, let alone an entire audience...including my fellow classmates who are also performing tomorrow. I've always considered myself somewhat shy, it takes me a few to warm up to people and become social. This is like a shock from quiet to a performance with 10 lines on a stage at one of the most visited tourist spots in southern West Virginia....... Performing on stage tomorrow
Cross fingers for me folks....I'm hoping I won't freeze up.

you will do fine hon. just think that you are up there and they are not lol. that makes you 1 up on them lol. actually I get nervous doing such as that myself. just remember to breathe! find something other than the audience to look at.

Haha, I'm especially nervous about the southern accent I am suppose to attempt. My character is a southern woman who's on an Elvis Display tour. I'm a yankee here in West Virginia. Being around the southern folk helps though...I think I can pull the southern woman off. I'm thinking about putting curlers in my hair and wearing a sundress with flip flops!

I did it!...I was blessed my performance wasn't first. I did feel bad that there others seemed to put more effort into it; but I survived it and I didn't freeze up like I thought I would. I didn't speak as southern as I was suppose to....I sounded like a yank still, but the character still appeared the same. I feel better now that it's over and I got my A!
