I think it would really nice if we could have a daily sucess story. Hope you guys agree. Anyway, my sucess story, although not exactly related to mental health, is that I lost 2lbs this week. I am happy about this because every since on meds I gained alot of weight mainly due to the fact that I was overeating. So now I started exercising and eating healthier and lost a few pounds....yeah. It is hard but I am trying to stick with it.

How about anyone else? Whats your daily sucess story?

Jennifer

That's good news because I noticed I have more appetite and am afraid of gaining weight on my meds. Guess I'll say goodbye to the cookie monster and keep and eye on what I am eating and get more exercise!

Of course I check my belly once in a while, but in the end, it's not belly that is important. It's how, me, spirit, body and soul live.

To say it quite bluntly, I don't really care if i gain a couple of pounds, as long as I get better mentally (but not too many pounds, ok ? lol...).

Take care

Sincerely,

Starbuck

Well for yesterday... i wrote out some overdue checks but did not get to the bank or post office to mail them (i will do that today)

but the reason that is a SUCCESS story is because i didn't forgo my errands in order to back to bed to nap, instead i decided to take a hot bath. i soaked for about an hour and a half until i was completely pruny everywhere except my fingernails and teeth Today's Daily Sucess Story.

it felt really good, i ate afterwards, and didn't nap or sleep until it was time for bed.

Well everyone here is my daily sucess story and it is a bit personal but I don't mind sharing it with you all. Hubby and I are having some fertility issues and we are not sure why. Well today I went to the hospital for a scheduled HSG where the doc injectects dye into your uterus and fallopian tubes to see if there is any blockage because 35 percent of infertility is caused by blockage in this area. It was sooooooo painful and uncomfortable! But the good news is the results were normal! Everything looks fine he said. In fact that was my last fertility test and thus far all of these tests are normal!! Which is what I consider a sucess!

I used to get daily emails from iVillage called the Daily Success Newsletter. I loved them but unfortunetly they stopped coming one day. I saved almost all the ones I received. In fact, I pulled out my book of them the other day to post one or two here for you all to read. Of course, I fell asleep shortly after coming online so I haven't done it yet.
