Tonight I ran into my cousin’s Mom, a lovely and dear lady who has always been so very good to me. We had lost touch and I was so happy to see her. Rosie is older now and widowed, but still such a vibrant and beautiful woman. She lived a lot of years of abuse and is now reinventing herself.

She would come and get me when I was a teen and take me out for the day with her family just to get me away from my parents. She knew what was happening in my home and did the best she could to help.

She told me tonight she is being stalked. He went so far as to show up at her Dr’s office yesterday! From what she told me, he has a filthy mind and equally filthy mouth. She is not like that at all. She’s a church going woman who is happy to be alone. She is terrified of the stalker.

I told her to tell him to never call her or come near her again or she would take out a warrant against him. I told her I would go with her to the court house to get it.

I gave her some pepper spray and stood in line with her and was planning to walk her to her car to make sure she was safe. I was talking to her and suddenly a man’s arm came from behind me and touched her hand. I turned around and was towering over this older man and growled, “Who are you?”

It turned out to be a friend of Rosie’s and he thought I was the rudest person in the world. I apologized but added that he was the one that slipped up behind me and I didn’t know him from Adam. He doesn’t like me and it’s quite mutual, but that’s ok. He doesn’t pay my bills, so his opinion doesn’t really matter.

I’m going to try to help Rosie. She has never been able to stand up for herself. She simply doesn’t know how and people have used and abused her good nature for years.

Please send prayers, good thoughts, or whatever you do, out for Rosie so she can get rid of this stalker. Her golden years should not be filled with fear.

Jan call the pd today and see what can be done. I am assuming she knows the man? if so she can certainly tell them who he is and they can go talk to him about this until the warrant can be obtained.

You are a good friend indeed! Yes, predators prey upon ppl of that nature, they can spot a previously abused, and often submissive person quite easily.

I've been stalked, it isn't easy. During that time, my mother happened to see me in my car right after I had gotten into it to leave the store's parking lot. She came up and opened my door of the car: I nearly pepper sprayed her!!! She never surprised me again

I hope she has informed the police already. Does she have time and date written down of each and any occurrence? Does she have a small camera to take possible photos when she suspects being followed? Witness accounts of seeing this man?

Good wishes for both of you. Hopefully, if the man sees she has a strong friend (you) he will leave her alone... but hopefully someone will catch him before he does anything to anyone.
