Prayers and Good Thoughts Needed, Please

My uncle, whom I love dearly has been told he has inoperable cancer. They operated yesterday and just closed him. The Drs told him they can give him chemo in order to give him a little bit more time, but other than that, they can offer no hope.

To my knowledge, my uncle has never made any kind of confession of faith. I am so worried about him physically and spiritually.

Please pray for my uncle. Drs may say this or that, but I know the Great Physician, and only He knows when a soul shall pass. If you send good thoughts, thank you so very much, I am sure they will help. If you send prayers, please ask that God's will be done and I know that they, too, will help.

I can't imagine my life without my uncle. He's been one of the very few mainstays in my life. He is so very special.

((((Jan))) please find a way to talk to him about this. Most people who are on limited time need and want to discuss dying, yet no one will dare speak to them about it. It's a great relief to help, and there's no reason not to, now. No time like the present.

I'm sorry you are going to lose him. This is sad. It's one of the things about getting older that has a negative implication.

I'm not sure what to say, but I know your uncle is important to you. And it's not easy to ask that God's will be done in a situation like this, but somehow even if we don't understand, somehow God's will will come to pass and it will be okay, even if it doesn't seem like it. I feel like I'm just stumbling around here and hope that you can hear what my heart wants to say and find some comfort. Know we'll always be here for you, and feel free to PM if you want to.
