Henry is the female Golden Retriever pup I adopted from my fellow teacher. She is getting bigger and bigger, and falls down on the floor in a "whump!"...so clumsy.
I thought it was crazy to take another pet, having three cats and another older dog, but they all have settled in together and the older dog, Kelley, Samoyed and Henry just play and play together.
Last weekend, I had to install a DIY electric shock fence since they had dug out and escaped together. An expense I could ill afford, but they are staying in now. Also, I'm concerned about all the pet expense of vaccinations, etc. They are all overdue, and I wonder if I've taken on too much here. I stopped by the closest animal doctor and asked if I could set up an account and make "payments" on the visits from all my pets, and they said "NO!"
I will have to search out other options.
Any suggestions appreciated.
Love,
Patty

Hi Patty,
Don't take them all together-spread out when you take each pet. This way the bill will be spread out also.
That's what I do with Yum and Aggie. I take Yum in the Fall and Aggie in the Spring.
I'm glad you're enjoying Henry so much. Golden Retrievers are sooooo adorable!!!!!!!!!!

patty, i give my dogs their shots.......except for rabies. i get them at the feedstore/coop....... .....all you do is pull up a pinch of skin (left hand) stick needle in between thumb and forefinger and inject the med. the needles are teensy. it isn't like a say, giving a horse a shot where you just "jam" the needle in (im)......this goes under the skin.........PM or e.mail me.........xoxoxo pat
