Just saw this new BuzzFeed video on YouTube and wanted to share it with you all:

Well, some are treated that way - oh, you got cancer because you internalized your anger. It's karma. What goes around comes around. You create your own reality - the secret! Such crap, all of it. It's all your fault. It's a personal failing. No one can help you. Cheer up! Smile!

I'd be dead from physical health issues by now if they were treated like mental health. Simple as that.

Thanks for the share. Society's view on mental health is so pathetic and inexcusable that I'm ashamed of being part of the same species as many of the idiots that plague society.

If somebody gets a physical injury such as a broken bone, society thinks that that person is some kind of badass warrior or survivor, but if somebody has a mental illness that causes them needless daily suffering, even if that person is completely innocent and wouldn't hurt a fly, people compare them to school shooters or serial killers.

What people fail to realize is that it takes a lot more strength to get by with a mental illness than it does to heal from most physical illnesses. Ultimately, the person with the mental illness is more badass than the dude who broke a few bones off failing at football or something ever could hope to be in 1,000 years

In short, here's what I think. Sorry if this offends anybody
If Physical Health Problems were treated like Mental Health Problems
